Yoga is so much more than physical postures. In yoga we also consider the energetic body, the koshas and the chakras. Learn how we can theme our classes around energy rather than simply physical anatomy. How our body, mind, emotions and energy are all connected. And how we as yoga teachers can facilitate that understanding in our students – even in more corporate or conventional gym settings. Explore which yoga asana, pranayama, chanting and meditation we can use for each chakra and how can we create a sequence around them. After this weekend you will feel confident to share the benefit of working with chakras in your classes and workshops. By the end of the weekend, you will be able to:

– Understand the 7 main chakras and their qualities
– Feel confident in sharing the qualities of the chakras in your own words in your classes and workshops
– Apply the energetics into your asana classes
– Work with the chakras through meditation, mudra, sound and pranayama
– Theme workshops, classes or classes series around the chakras
