Spring Detox :

Yoga + Ayurveda for a digestive reset in Margate

The concept of the Agni or digestive fire and eliminating Ama (sometimes translated as “undigested material” or toxins in Ayurveda) will be the focus for this afternoon’s workshop.

We will discuss these concepts of Ayurveda and how to kindle our digestive fire for healthy elimination and how to detox and cleanse in an Ayurvedic way – gentle and effective.

In Ayurveda, healthy digestion is the foundation for a general health and wellbeing – physically and mental/emotionally.

You will receive a handout with a recipe for a cleansing diet, herbs and advice for a one (or a 3) day Spring Detox too.

Then it’s time to ignite our Agni and support the body’s natural cleansing processes.

Enjoy a dynamic yoga flow focusing on plenty of twisting as well as poses and movements to create space and let go of Ama (both physical, emotional and mental “undigested material” or toxins).

Part of detoxing is also space to release and let go. We will end the yoga practise with a deeply relaxing Yoga Nidra.
